Write a ReviewApartment living in Denver can be a lot of fun, but you have to remember that sometimes you need to get away from the apartment, and meet new people. There are numerous spots to meet up with friends, new and old, but one of the popular meeting spots in all the mile high city would have to be Marlowe's. Only at Marlowe's can you enjoy the up-tempo atmosphere of downtown Denver, meet up with all the beautiful people in town, and enjoy a delicious meal at the same time. If you're not having a good time the moment you hit Marlowe's, you're not trying hard enough. Though there's an extensive lunch menu, some of the best dishes are to be found only at dinnertime. Try some Jonah crab stuffed bouchee with roasted tomato chutney and lemon-dill creme fraiche to start the evening, or their edamme bean hummus. You could also enjoy one of their delicious soups, including New England clam chowder or green chili. The main course is all about robust flavors, and steaks and chops take center stage here. You can partake of their top sirloin medallions, in 16, 12, or 8 ounce varieties, with potato-marinated mushroom-montcherve goat cheese salad, and a sun-dred tomato-chipotle drizzle, their filet mignon, with chive mashed potatoes and a pearl onion-agave nectar demi glace, or their delectable Colorado lamb chops, with mashed potatoes, spiced grilled pear sauce, and ginger-golden fig chutney. If beef or lamb isn't your thing, you can try one of their seafood options, including, pan-roasted halibut with lobster mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, asparagus cream sauce and truffle oil, or their Alaskan king crab legs with steamed asparagus, baked potatoes, and butter. Make sure to save room for their delicious South African vanilla creme brulee, or their fruit-infused New York style cheesecake. For those looking for a nice way to wash down their ambrosial meal, they have a great selection of alcoholic beverages at Marlowe's. You could pick something from their extensive wine list, which includes wines of every varietal from all over the world, or try one of their classic martinis, dry or dirty, made with your choice of dozens of different kinds of alcohol. They also have a number of deals on food and drink throughout the week, so make sure to check back each day for the next big deal. Denver is a great place to meet people, and it's also a great place to grab some delicious food, so why not find a place that combines both. Marlowe's is one of Denver's most popular spots, and apartment-ites won't have a hard time figuring why, because the food, atmosphere and drinks are sure to have you coming back time after time.
