Houston apartment-living sports fans have a lot of options for their sports watching needs. Sports bars are a dime a dozen in H-Town, so with so many options, how can you choose which bar is best for you? SRO Sports Bar has everything you for your gaming experience, from its plentiful TVs, to its great selections of beers, wines, spirits and lunch specials, and great video games and bar sports to keep you entertained while the game's away. It's the best place to get together with friends and watch the ballgame. From soccer, to football, to basketball, to NASCAR, SRO is serves up all the great games you want to see so there's hardly a time you'll walk in the door where there won't be some great sporting event on the TV. The place has hundreds of TVs for viewing the game, so you'll never miss a single second of the big game, unless, of course, even if you want to enjoy one of the great bar games the joint holds, from the traditional like foosball, pool and darts, to other options like air hockey, arcade games and ping pong. SRO is also home to several alumni watching parties, so if you're a lone fan out there looking for a group on gameday, more than likely you'll find it here. While most bars would only give you the bare basics when it comes to food, SRO is more like a small restaurant than your usual sports bar. They have tasty appetizers such as potato skins, popcorn chicken, fried cheese, and nachos, as well as hefty entrees such as their famous half-pound, pure Angus hamburgers, or several other sandwich options, or, you can come Wednesday for their special Steak Night. SRO delivers the best food you're likely to find at any sports bar in town. SRO wouldn't be much of a bar if it didn't include some great drinks, and they do just that, with gusto. Featuring plenty of refreshing beers on tap, including locals such as St. Arnold's and Shiner, as well as specialties such as Guinness or Newcastle, and they even provide a great black and tan. If you go during a game, make sure to take advantage of the cheap domestic pitchers. They also has a good selection of imported and domestic bottled beers. If wine's more your thing, then they have a selection of good varietals to keep you satisfied, and they also have a fine selection of mixed drinks and spirits. SRO stands for standing room only, and its easy to see why people would flock to this sports bar come gametime. It's the number one place for Houston apartment-ites to take in the game, take in a few brews and have a great meal at the same time.
