Write a ReviewDenver apartment-ites are rugged folk, just like the mountains that constantly surround them, so when it comes time to find a restaurant for the night, they want a meal as rugged as they are. Sullivan's Steakhouse is a throwback to the old steakhouses of the 1940s, when men smoked packs of cigarettes, enjoyed cool jazz, drank plenty of martinis, and liked their steaks big, juicy and cooked to order. Sullivan's delivers on all their promises, with delicious martinis, hip jazz music, as well as some of the best steaks in town. It's the best place in town to take in a classy meal with some great music, and finish it off with a refreshing, cold drink. Sullivan's is all about feeling like a bit shot, so it's no wonder that it's popular with the business crowds. There large, juicy steaks are enough to impress anyone, but it's the small touches, like the baby grand piano, dark wood furniture, white tables cloths, and the vintage feel of the place that will have your audience wowed. Any night of the week, you'll find an entertaining jazz ensemble playing the hottest 40s jazz, which goes perfect with their well-cooked steaks, strong martinis, and plentiful cigars. The draw here, of course, is the meat, and there are plenty of delicious cuts for your needs. They know their cuts well, also, so whether you've come in for a filet mignon, or a New York strip, or their gigantic porterhouse, you'll leave with a smile on your face and a full stomach. If steak is not your speed, try one of their delicious seafood options, from fish, to shrimp, to scallops, all fresh and delicious as well. Their delicious martinis make a perfect compliment to the delicious cuts of meat, as do their fine selections of cigars. Steakhouses are, for the most part, very masculine locales, so apartment-ites looking for a great place in Denver for a juicy, delicious steak need only look to Sullivan's, where the style of yesterday and the tastes of today to create on fantastic experience.
