With a population of around 75,000 and mild year-round weather, it’s an amazing place to live as a college student or distance learner, young professional, parent, or older couple. With a bumping art scene, lots of shopping and dining options, and centuries of history centered on Rock Hill’s heart – Old Town – there’s always something to do here. And with plenty of amenities at your disposal, it will quickly become home.
If the city does two things well, it’s catering to children and to lovers of the outdoors. Families adore Rock Hill for amenities such as its many parks, the Mainstreet Children’s Museum, and many sports venues. Take a walk in Glencairn Gardens or along Ebenezer Park for some fresh air, or visit one of the many brewpubs for an outdoor pint. Many people come to Rock Hill for school, then choose to stay for the proximity to large city centers and the amazing family-friendly vibes.
