Getting around Antioch is best done by car, although Nashville does have bus service that covers the area. While it is possible, it's not a location that's very well-suited to getting around without a car. The bus service is not very extensive, and with the Southern heat and generous rainfall, going by bicycle or on foot would be uncomfortable during the warmest months. Antioch is about 11 miles from downtown Nashville. Take Interstate-24 to get to Nashville from Antioch, the trip takes about 18 minutes, although it is likely to be longer than that during rush hour.
