Besides the famous beaches, it has a rich history, very accessible public transportation on land and at sea, and great weather. Long Beach is a lovely haven for jazz lovers. With great parks and many shopping opportunities, Long Beach really has something for everyone and finding the perfect apartments in Long Beach is easy and fun.
The biggest reason to live in Long Beach is the 5 1/2 miles of beaches, but don't forget about all the urban amenities. The schools are excellent, and the shopping is even better. There are more parks per capita than in other California cities. Even dogs have it great in Long Beach with dog parks and a dog beach. The community is very diverse and welcoming to newcomers. Best of all, it's more affordable that other Southern California cities.
