San Antonio is full of interesting bars, clubs, pubs and dives, but sometimes apartment-ites are looking to fulfill some bizarre tastes. What if, for instance, you're in the mood for some refreshing cocktails, while at the same time hankering for big, juicy, gut-busting burger? You ask for a burger at many of the fine cocktail lounges around town and you'll be laughed out of town, and the pubs that serve burgers usually don't do a cocktail justice, so what are you to do? Relax, Broadway 50/50 has you covered, serving the best cocktails and the most delicious burgers in town, making all your crazy dreams come true. When it comes to grub, Broadway 50/50 has a strictly Tarantino feel. If you want a tasty burger, come and sit down for a Royale with Cheese, or without, El Jefe, with pico and bleu cheese crumbles, the Guapo, with refried beans, cheese, chips and salsa, the Big Kahuna burger, with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, the Vincent Vega, with plenty of guacamole, the Mr. Wolf, with chili and cheese, and the Marcellus bacon and cheese burger. For those not quite in the mood for a burger, try their flat iron steak, grilled chicken breast, or chicken fried steak, all served with garlic mashers and green beans. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, try the Butch. To wash it all down, try one of their five dollars shakes (which actually only cost three fifty), which come in Mr. White (vanilla), Mr. Pink (strawberry), or Mr. Brown (chocolate). Of course, the other half of this equation is the cocktail, and they do that up right. No matter what you're in the mood for, they know how to pour it, and pour it right, from the most common martinis to the most creative cocktails you can imagine. If you're not in the mood for anything fancy, they have plenty of beer on tap or in bottle, which goes perfect with one of their mouth-watering burgers. For burgers and cocktails in San Antonio, in a truly Tarantino-esque style, apartment-ites can't do much better than Broadway 50/50, one of the hottest spots in town to grab and a drink and a meal, and the only place in town to calm that secret urge we all have to try a big, juicy burger, and wash it down with a strong, well-mixed cocktail.
