Write a ReviewAs a Austin apartment-ite, there are plenty of upscale bars, clubs and music venues for you to go out to, but sometimes you just need to let loose and act like a kid. Perhaps the best way to do this with seeming like a total weirdo is Dave and Busters. Combining a fantastic food menu, a wide variety of drinks, and a wide array of video games, simulators and midway-style games, Dave and Busters is the best place to go in Austin when you're want to feel like a kid again away from the comforts of your own apartment. What draws people to Dave and Busters most, and what sets it apart from so many bars, clubs and restaurants in the area is its wide selection of games. Whether you're just up for a casual game of Pac-Man, ,or are in for a ride in their flight simulator, there's something for everyone. They have something for everyone here, from hits like Skee Ball, Basketball Shoot, or Fortune Wheels, to fun video games like The House of the Dead and Time Crisis series', featuring hands on shooting action, and plenty of flying, shooting and driving simulators. They even give patrons the chance to play for tickets, which can be traded in for great prizes. It's not all about the games, here, though. As a restaurant, it's also important to have great food. It's not just cheap fair, either, there are plenty of delicious, fresh-cooked choices. To start off your meal, there's a long menu of appetizers, from the traditional, such as Cheese Sticks, Potato Skins and Nachos, to the more interesting, like Tempura Fried Mushrooms or Philly Steak Rolls. As far as entrees go, the skies the limit. Chicken, Ribs, Burgers, Sandwiches, Steaks, and even seafood and pastas, are there for the taking, as well as Salads and Soup for those looking for something lighter. For those wanting to do some gaming after they eat, they have a great game and eat deal, and if you come for lunch, they have a stupendous lunch specials. The selection of alcohols is also nothing to scoff at. Beers from all over the world are on tap and in bottles, and the place also features full wine list, with blushes, sparklings, whites and reds, as well as numerous other alcoholic concoctions to choose from. It's all fun and games at Dave and Busters, and it could be the most fun you're likely to have with an evening out. If you're looking for a way to escape your Austin apartment into an entertaining night that will give you a chance to go back to your youth, then Dave and Busters is just the place for you.
