I-610, I-10, 290 and 99 also are within easy range of the area, heading north-south and east-west accordingly. While those residing in The Woodlands will find getting around town a breeze, those commuting to the Houston job market can expect lengthy daily delays and slow going traffic on I-45 commonplace.

The 'Woodlands Villager' acts as the primary print media for the area, and the 'Houston Chronicle' delivers arts and entertainment listings on a weekly basis as well. Radio is diverse and widespread, with country, classic rock, sporting news and gospel readily available. Broadcasting is omnipresent as well, with a regional PBS affiliate as well as national stations like FOX and ABC found with ease.
