The Winecoff Hotel has survived through a number of difficult times, including a massive fire, but has kept on going, and to this day folks from Atlanta apartments can still stay in the hallowed halls of this hotel. An apartment near the Winecoff Hotel envelops one with a sense of history that few other spots in the city can provide, putting you very near one of the most heritage-rich areas of town. One of the oldest structures in town, the Winecoff Hotel has had quite a history since its doors were first opened in 1913, and has seen many people stroll through its doors. It is perhaps best known for the large fire that occurred in 1946, which killed several people and led to the hotel almost being destroyed. Luckily, the hotel was able to salvaged, and folks from Atlanta apartments can still visit this hotel today, since it re-opened in the 1950s, featuring some major renovations.
