Write a ReviewYour roommate has some basic 'no-no's around the apartment, some more reasonable than others. For starters, no hip-hop loud enough to rattle the windows - reasonable. No UFC recreations on the living room couch with rowdy friends - moderately reasonable. No hookah smoking in the kitchen - hey, it's time to get a new roommate! Or, I suppose, you could just hit the Divan for your puffing pleasure. Truly one-of-a-kind, the Divan Lounge intermingles two sensual experiences...delectable Mediterranean cuisine and potent Turkish tobacco...into a remarkably potent experience. Consistently voted as "most romantic" and "best first date destination" by the local media, the Divan's comfortable and intimate confines have made believers of even the staunchest anti-smoking crusaders. Nestled in a remodeled old house, the comfortable, cushy furniture, numerous throw rugs and low-to-the-ground tables help yield the get-a-little-closer vibe that seems to come off the main room in waves. Candles and exotic scents only add to the mystique, and even non-intrusive belly dancers (if there is such a thing) can be found on the hot nights. The fare is exceptional; tapas-style portions are intended for sharing, and dishes ranging from seared blackened tuna to duck leg confit are all prepared flawlessly, topped with a dash of soothing yogurt cucumber sauce to ease the spice-filled palate.
