Needless to say, the peanut oil burns you've been scrubbing off that wok for an hour are not going away, leaving you resolute that next time you'll simply head to Spoon and let the professionals handle it. From the polished wood and stainless steel décor, to the modern yet strangely traditional ambiance, Spoon has quickly become a hot spot for Thai cuisine in a relaxed yet upscale environment. The menu is updated consistently with new specials, although a variety of vegetarian classics and seafood entrees (try the Snapper) are always recommended. Even the drinks are given a special unique twist, with the Thai tea martini garnering raves. Appetizers such as Calamari tempura are similarly out of this world without breaking the bank, and despite the hype there is usually only a short wait for a table. Reasonably priced, elegantly hip, and meticulously prepared ingredients makes this one Spoon you'll want to run away with.
