Like many an apartment-ite, music plays a large part in your daily life. Vinyl, CD, digital and, especially, live, you love it all. Given the non-stop pace of your hectic schedule, you've been on the hunt for a one-stop destination that can cover all of your musical needs. Fortunately, Reggie's is just the joint you've been yearning for. Featuring two live music venues, a kitchen for late night snacking and a record store covering an entire floor of genres, Reggie's is a literal triple threat of musical perfection. Reggie's rock club hosts a who's who of national alternative acts, ranging from punk rockers like The Dwarves to indie shoegazers such as Danielson, while the music joint features blues and rock performers from the thriving Chicago region. And did we mention Record Breakers, the coolest music store in all of the windy city? From 45's to DVD's, from t-shirts to stickers, Reggie's RB's covers everything hip for the discerning music fan. If they don't have it, then it doesn't exist. Like all good clubs, Reggie's has a large selection of libations for the night owls. The food is comprised largely of pub fare (wings, quesadillas), although unique options such as fried pickles and mushroom caps stuffed with spinach push Reggie's record sleeve menu (seriously!) into a higher caliber of chow. And the drinks range from the typical (a large variety of beer and wine) to the extreme (approach those $5 mega Long Island iced teas with caution), yielding the perfect liquid partnership for the hard rocking jams.
