Apartment living in Dallas can be quite fun, especially since no matter where you may hang your hat, you're always down the street from some great bar, club or pub, so when the time comes for you to make a decision of just which one to make the trip to, you may have some difficulty choosing from the awesome selection. If you're looking for a great bar that can also get you delicious food and a pleasant, casual environment, take a drive down to the Black Finn Saloon in Addison. The Blackfinn is designed to make your stay at their Saloon as pleasant as possible, and caters to everyone from the suit-wearing professional crowd, to the polo and jeans crowd, and won't even shoo you away for wearing shorts and a t-shirt. With great drink, lunch and game day specials, it's hard to pass up The Blackfinn in terms of fun and deliciousness for your dollar, and on game days the fun is ratcheted up to 11. With 30 large flat screen TVs, plus a small one at every booth, and a kickin' sound system, you're not likely to have a better experience watching the big game, especially if you combine it with their delectable food and refreshing drinks. Walking into a place like this, you might expect the typical bar menu of nachos, or cheese fries, maybe a plain burger, but Blackfinn does you one better. When you come to Blackfinn, prepare yourself for a full, appetizing meal one might expect at a high-class restaurant, right in the warmth of your favorite bar. For appetizers, there are plenty of options, whether you want traditional faire like nachos (theirs come tricolored, with sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole), cheese sticks, or chicken strips, or if you're in the mood for something a bit different, such as their steamed mussels, seared ahi tuna or calamari. Also, you can start things you with their sliders, four minature hamburgers in a variety of styles. With the entrees, Blackfinn opens up a whole new world of flavor, whether you're up for a nice juicy steak, their catch of the day, or one of the unique and delectable chicken dishes. They also have a fantastic selection of sandwiches, from their burger, with your choice of bacon, cheese, mushrooms, and/or caramelized onions, to a chicken sandwiches, in your choice of buffalo or blackened, fish sandwiches, your choice of haddock or salmon, and even a turkey wrap for those health conscious folks. Blackfinn has something pleasing for every pallet. A bar is only as good as its drink, and drink specials, and when it comes to these, Blackfinndoes everything right. On game days, the deals are on, with $10 buckets and $6 pictures, and cheap deals on pints and bottles as well. They don't save all the deals for game day, however, with plenty of great deals all throughout the week, with bartender who knows how to make just about anything you can throw at them, and who always make it strong and good. Bars don't come much better than the Blackfinn Saloon, especially on game days, so if you're an apartment owner looking for a pleasant, casual place to view the big game, step right up to Blackfinn Saloon, you'll be glad you did.
