Plan on enjoying warm breezes and the sunshine all year long. There's no cold season here. It's all palm trees, white sandy beaches, and pelicans as far as the eye can see.
Ft. Myers isn't your typical beach town. You'll find that it is less touristy than most beach communities but still has a nice beach vibe. Ft. Myers is also home to the spring-training camps of several major league baseball teams, and with the palm tree-lined streets, it's a wonderful city to take a walk in or enjoy a lunch outside in the sunshine.
